Meet Our Dedicated Tula Wellness Staff
Arianna Sholes-Douglas, MD, FACOG is the founder and visionary of Tula Wellness, PLLC. She has practiced medicine for over 20 years and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. As a graduate of the University of Arizona’s Integrative Medicine Fellowship, founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Arianna combines her extensive knowledge in women’s health with the field of integrative medicine. Dr. Arianna specializes in integrative women’s health, a subspecialty of gynecology that incorporates evidenced-based alternative medical therapies to promote healing, recognizes that several factors (mind, body, and spirit) contribute to wellness, and honors a patient-centered approach and healing partnerships between patient and physician.

Brandie Lopez is the Practice Manager of Tula Wellness and Aesthetics since 2018. Brandie is a licensed Cosmetologist and has been on the beauty industry for 25 years and managing for 18 years. Brandie has managed high-end spa’s as well as retail environments. In 2018 she ventured into the Medical Aesthetics field by joining the Tula team and has loved it. Brandie’s focus is delivering excellence in service and results, having patients experience an educated, trustworthy and caring team. She takes pride in supporting her staff in any way she can as well as working one on one with patients helping them achieve their aesthetic and wellness goals. She is a Tucson native and proud mother of 3 boys whom she enjoys watching them play sports.

Whitney Edwards is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience providing healthcare in the Tucson area. Whitney, originally from Southwest Louisiana, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McNeese State University in 2012. After moving to Tucson and working as a Registered Nurse for 6 years she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from The University of Arizona in 2018. Since finishing her Doctorate, she has been practicing exclusively in the area of sexual health and reproductive wellness for both women and men, making her a specialist in this field.
Whitney’s mission is to create a safe and supportive environment for all patients, where they feel heard and respected. She is dedicated to promoting sexual health awareness and ensuring that everyone has access to the information and care they need to make informed decisions about their overall health and well-being. Whether you need a comprehensive reproductive health exam, guidance on safer sex practices or help addressing sexual health concerns, Whitney is here to provide expert care and support.
In her free time, Whitney enjoys spending quality time with her husband and 3 dogs. Her hobbies include hiking, rock climbing, reading, cooking and traveling the world.

Eva is our licensed esthetician & certified laser technician and has been part of the Tula team since 2019. Eva started with us at the front desk and moved into the treatment room upon graduating with high honors at Aveda Institute. Her list of services includes all of our body contouring services, facials, all laser treatments, and microneedling for the skin as well as PRP hair restoration. Eva is passionate about skincare and enjoys educating her clients on the technology behind different skincare products and treatments. Her goal is for all of her clients to feel confident and empowered in their skin with curated skincare routines as well as personalized treatment plans. Most of Eva’s free time consists of spending time with her family, reading, and doing Pilates. Naomi is a Licensed Cosmetologist that is about to start the nursing program at Pima Community College. She started with us at the front desk then transferred to the back office as a medical assistant offering patient care and assisting patients with their appointments and ongoing care at Tula. Naomi is passionate about aesthetics and has a desire to help woman in the medical field to feel beautiful inside and out, aesthetics , social justice , art and live music. You will find Naomi at any live show she can get a ticket to. She spends her free time playing bass and hanging out with friends.

Ashlyn moved to Tucson from Phoenix in 2016 and has a passion for helping people! She also loves esthetics and got her esthetician license in 2014. Ashlyn has a slight (HUGE) obsession with Disney/Disneyland and by seeing her tattoos you will know. In her free time Ashlyn enjoys playing with makeup and doing fun creative looks. She is extremely passionate about skin care and is happy to assist Tula patients.

Rachel Garcia is our Weight Loss provider for Tula Wellness and Aesthetics. Rachel is a Tucson Native, a wife and proud mother of 3 sons. Rachel pursued her passion in the Fitness industry in 1991 as the fitness director for many Fitness facilities here in Tucson and in California where she lived for a few years while her husband served in the United States Marine Corps. Rachel is a business owner of a local Fitness facility "The Shed Fitness Studio “ where she continues to guide clients with their Fitness journeys as a Fitness instructor and Personal Trainer. Rachel’s passion is helping others find their balance with inner and outer wellness so that they are able to learn how to find a sustainable relationship with health and fitness that works for their own unique lifestyles. Rachel continues to find ways to expand her knowledge in the ever-changing fitness industry to be able to provide the most up to date information that she can share with her patients and clients.

Alyssa, our Front Desk Associate, loves working in women-empowered environments and can uses her extensive customer service background to help create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients. She is currently studying to get her Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing at ASU, and wants to apply her knowledge with social media support here at our practice. On her free time, you can find her spending quality time with people she loves, taking spin classes, traveling, and catching any music festival she can go to.
